Barcelo Complex in Rivera Maya
If Rivera Maya is your favorite destination then I would like to introduce you to the Barcelo Complex, something for everyone. This complex is large, and it is actually 5 hotels in one complex. The five star resort is the Palace, then the Tropical and Colonial are both 4 star resorts then we have the Caribe and Mayan Beach. My first trip to this complex we stayed at the Mayan Beach. We traveled with friends and had a blast, it is a very active resort. I felt the beds were the best I ever had in Mexico. The rooms were very nice, flat screen TV's, with lots of room. We loved the fun beach bar and the resturants were very nice. The next year we liked the Barcelo so much we did a family trip after Christmas, and we stayed at the Colonial. I really enjoyed the specialty resturants, the Asian and Italian were my favorites. I will admit the service was slow but the resort was full. All of the resorts share a huge beach which is great. And guess what we are going back in Feburary to stay at the Tropical or Colonial again. Once again we are traveling with friends and I am sure everyone will be happy as it has something for everyone. The Barcelo resorts have an upgrade called the Premium Club which we will try this year. Basically we will have unlimited access to specialty resturants, wireless internet in the room, a lounge with premium drinks and appetizers. I find this resort is a great pick for families, and groups because it has shopping, tennis, mini golf, water sports and active pools. If you would like more information please contact me.
2013 Spring Break
It is never too early to plan your vacation. But consider inviting a large number of families to travel together.
